Description

This 40-foot flat rack shipping container is designed for transporting cargo that exceeds the dimensions of standard enclosed containers. The unit consists of a heavy-duty steel base frame with collapsible end walls at each end. When end walls are folded, multiple flat racks can be stacked for return transport.

The open sides and top configuration accommodates oversized machinery, vehicles, timber, pipes, and construction materials. Lashing rings are integrated into the base frame and end walls for securing cargo during transit. Corner castings at each corner allow for lifting, stacking, and securement aboard vessels, chassis, or rail cars.
