Due to the nature of shipping containers, large, industrial, and customized products, all sales are considered final unless otherwise stated in writing. However, we do offer returns and refunds under specific conditions as described below.

Customers are encouraged to carefully review product details, container condition, and delivery requirements prior to purchase. Our team is available to answer any questions before an order is placed.


2. Eligibility for Returns

Returns are accepted within 30 calendar days of delivery, subject to the following conditions:

  • The container must be returned in the same condition as delivered

  • The container must not have been modified, altered, or damaged after delivery

  • The container must be empty, unobstructed, and accessible for pickup

  • Proof of purchase is required for all return requests

Customized or modified containers, including, but not limited to, containers with added doors, windows, electrical systems, insulation, or custom paint are non-returnable, unless the unit arrives damaged or defective at the time of delivery.


3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Modified or custom-built containers

  • Containers sold “as-is”

  • Containers damaged due to misuse, relocation, or improper site preparation

  • Containers returned outside the 30-day return window


4. Return Process

To initiate a return, customers must contact us at:

  • Order number

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos (if applicable)

  • Delivery date

Returns must be approved in writing by Universal Containers LLC before any pickup or shipment is scheduled. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.


5. Return Shipping & Fees

  • Customers are responsible for all return transportation costs, including pickup, shipping, and handling fees

  • Delivery fees are non-refundable

  • Any damage incurred during return transportation may result in deductions or denial of refund


6. Refund Policy

Once a returned container is received and inspected, refunds will be processed if the return meets eligibility requirements.

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method

  • Refunds are processed within 14 – 21 business days after inspection and approval

  • Processing times may vary depending on the customer’s financial institution


7. Damaged or Defective Containers

If a container arrives damaged or defective, customers must notify Universal Containers LLC within 7 days of delivery.

Once your container is delivered, you have 7 calendar days to inspect it and report any issues that materially affect its condition or operation.

Any reports made after 7 days from delivery may not be eligible for refund or replacement review.

If the issue is verified, we may offer:

  • A replacement container (subject to availability), or

  • A refund at no additional cost

Failure to report damage within this timeframe may void eligibility for a refund or replacement.


8. Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled prior to delivery only if the container has not yet been dispatched. Once a container is in transit or delivered, cancellation is no longer possible.

This policy is governed by applicable federal laws of the United States. Universal Containers LLC reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time without prior notice. The most current version will always be available on our website.
